Warning: Do not read this book in public. You need to be in a place where no one will question as to why you have big tears rolling down your face or that you are sobbing uncontrollably. Seriously, this is an awesome addition to the Rosemary Beach series. We get the completion of Grant and Harlow. Abbi Glines will make you feel the entire time that you read. I felt every emotion that Grant and Harlow had. They have a unique to me situation that they are facing. I understood both sides of the argument. I applauded Grant when he realized that he had to let Harlow make the agonizing decision. Their love is wonderful. Their love is forever. Abbi, I know what you are trying to do with Nan.........please please please don't make me like show more her!!!! Dual point of views. I loved visiting with some of my favorite characters. Emotional read with no cliffhanger. show less
Abbi Glines is quickly becoming my favorite author!! She keeps putting out stories that just get better and better! Grant and Harlow just might have slipped into my favorite couple of Rosemary Beach. This book really tore at my heart strings for both Grant and Harlow. They totally love each other and just slipped away from each other, but the fact that Grant leaves a voice mail every night that they are apart and that Harlow still totally loves him, but is trying to protect him. UGH! I just love them!!!

Ms. Glines definitely puts everything into her work and these characters are amazing and truly deserve your time. I can't think of another book I have read lately that has made me feel so strongly connected to the main characters. Grant show more and Harlow will rip out your heart, but when they put the pieces together, it will grow just like the Grinch's did! show less

Oh Grant and Harlow... what are we to do with you?

I absolutely love these two characters. Both are strong in their own ways. I just wish they would learn how to lean on each other without outside person's bullshit ( ahem, Nan). I do like that they are able to try to deal with their past. It makes for a strong relationship when you are able to work forward. You can tell that Grant is in so much pain because he screwed up. Harlow is trying to deal with everything, and boy does she have a secret. I still dislike Nan, but don't hate her quite as much.

One More Chance is a rollercoaster of emotion. You'll need tissues that's for sure. Things show more just can't seem to go easy on Grant and Harlow. They are constantly fighting an uphill battle. This battle is probably the biggest one they will face.

Good ending to Grant and Harlow, but I have to say that I liked their first book better than this one. There was a lot of groveling and a lot of the mushy stuff, but there were also a very sad and heartbreaking side to this. Bethy's story has me intrigued.
This book picks up where Take A Chance leaves off. Harlow has run off to Texas after Grant finds out her secret. Grant desperately needs her to talk to him and forgive him. However, Harlow now carries more secrets.

Harlow is lost. Depressed. Pregnant. She isolates herself. Punishes herself...

Grant needs Harlow. He is desperate to get her back. Depressed. Lost. Angry. He just wants her to come home or at least pick up the phone.

I am sitting here trying to figure out how to continue this review. I don't want to go into detail, but I seem to be at a loss for words with this one.

This is a great conclusion for this couple. It's heartbreaking. It's heartwarming. It's endearing. It's emotional. It's loving. I mean, really, I can keep going show more back and forth. This book has it all!

And let's not forget NAN. Yes, Nan. But, she may not be the Nan you have grown to hate... Then again, she just might be. Oh the tangled web this group weaves! I am thinking Nan will get her story? More of Nan, picking up with this story? I guess I will have to wait to see about that...

Back to Harlow and Grant... What more is there to say? Hmmm... I guess all I can say is that in true Abbi fashion, you will not be disappointed in this story. Those that know me, know I don't usually like the HEA. I usually want the opposite since I am a masochist. However, which Abbi's books, the HEA ALWAYS works with me! Happy Reading!
