I found this to be an okay read, but found it lacking a bit. I would have liked to see a bit more character development, but I think there was an assumption that readers would have read other related books. ( )

While this is a novella, the story does not feel rushed, despite its short length. I would have liked to have seen this story fleshed out more, but as it stands it's pretty good. It was great to see the Camel Club characters together with Will Robie in this book. Never read the books in that series, but now I want to! ( )

As he is depositing his paycheck at a bank branch in an upscale mall, Oliver Stone (of Camel Club fame) and Will Robie are taken hostage by what seem to be bank robbers. However, the robbers have some non-standard heavy equipment and the duo determine there is another agenda. Oliver contacts his buddies from the Camel Club and together they defeat the criminals. Not enough is explained, such as why Will Robie is following Oliver in the first place and the coincidences, including the appearance of Secret Service agent Alex Ford is all too convenient, at least for me. A short story where the Camel Club and Will Robie cross paths. A bank robbery happen with Will Robie and Oliver Stone inside the bank.

I've not much to say. It's a short story without depth or twists. It's ok. ( )

This may be an exciting story if you know Oliver Stone and Will Robie, a get together. I haven't read The Camel Club. ( )
