My first Paris Review and it deserves its fine reputation. Two Intriguing interviews – one with writer Evan Connell is referred to as “a visit with,” maybe because he died before it could be concluded or his natural reticence. The fiction is also excellent, especially Luke Mogelson’s “To the Lake.” ( )
