Warning: May contain spoilers.)But as for the cheering of crowds, the playing of bands, the making of speeches, the procession to Dublin headed by Neptune and Amphitrite in an allegorical car, these things have nothing to do with the voyage, but show an appreciation of it for which I am deeply thankful; it is good to have sailed round the world in order to be at home again.
