Payton's Pursuit is filled with tension, action, suspense and a wonderful combination of romance. Payton is a genius with and just starts to learn she has unique powers. Those powers can help the man that tried to kill her sister in Ms. Jaytanie first book, Chasing Victory, which I very much enjoyed. As the attraction grows between Payton and Collin she turns to him to help her discover hidden truths about her families past as she helps him control his genetically altered chemistry. I'm an animal lover so of course I enjoyed the Doberman's involvement in the book. Te author does a great job of tying all the characters together to continue what will be a great Winter Sister Series. This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers. The Winter sisters were in tight situations in book one, and the bad guys have not given up. There is almost too much for Payton, Victory and Willow to handle. Paranormal happenings, mental telepathy, bioengineering and finding unexpected love are woven into an action packed story line. I am looking forward to read book three to follow up on the newly found information on the sisters' mother's genetic research and how it influences them now. This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers. I enjoyed reading this book- romance and suspense with a paranormal twist. It is the second book in the series but can be read as a stand alone. It alludes to some things that happened in the first novel so I would be interested in going back and reading the other sister's story. This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers. I received this through the LibraryThing Early Reviewers program. This is a paranormal romantic suspense, and I found it a quick, light read. I felt there were a few things that could have been better explained (but I think this may be the second of the series), and I would have liked to get to know the characters a bit better. I would be interested in reading more by this author.I had some trouble getting into it, as I received it in pdf format, and found my ereader did not handle this book well, so I finished reading it on my laptop. I also found that whole sentences seemed to be out of order, which was confusing and distracting, as were the occasional lapses in grammar and punctuation. no reviews | add a review

This series is about 3 sisters who each have a form of telepathic ability. They were unaware of their true potential until recently. What starts things off is Victory Winters witnesses a murder of someone from her past which in turns results in her kidnapping. There is an evil corporation that has been doing genetic experiments on humans with canine DNA and they need Victory to help perfect it and to try and come up with something to help control some of the men that have been experimented on where its gone wrong.
The government has been trying to find out who the players are behind Biotec and enlist in a SOCOM Team to help in bringing them down. The teams members also have a few telepathic abilities and eventually the two men Victory was kidnapped to help join SOCOM in there fight.
As the three books progress we find out there is more to it than just experiments with human and canine DNA. The sisters are at the heart of things not realizing how much their parents were involved at the start before they were born.
Each story has one of the sisters and a team member from the SOCOM Team at the forefront of being in jeopardy and also as the romantic couple.
What's uncovered through the books is a huge conspiracy that's global. That is not resolved by the end of the 3rd book so I am hoping there will be more books in the future. ( )
