This inexpensive e-book provides a chance to read the better known and less well known works of H. G. Wells. this particular e-book, however, does not have the best format so I have read many of the works as individual downloaded issues instead.

Reading this is a work in progress and I have completed:
- the War in the Air
- When the Sleeper Wakes
- The Invisible Man
- The Time Machine
- In the Days of the Comet

His classics are worth reading. Too many of the others are not. Even if the books are not always that good, it is often entertaining to see his view of what the future will bring. For example, his book "War in the Air" foresees a war of Dirigibles. ( )
