A work of visual and auditory art, the beautiful words and of Ecclesiastes, the illustrations of Wendy Halperin and the music of Pete Seeger inspire and console. "To everything... turn, turn, turn... there is a season...turn, turn, turn...and a time for every purpose under heaven."

A beautiful picture book using a circular season motif to illustrate Pete Seeger's adaptation of the famous passage from Ecclesiastes. Seasons of the year, seasons of life, seasons of change. Beautiful. Lee used this song and this passage as the basis of a graduation speech he gave in 2000, so it is dear to my heart.

The book is accompanied by a CD featuring both a Seeger performance and the more famous Byrds' recording. ( )
