I liked everything except the ending which was so abrupt it left me wondering if my copy was missing pages. No word on if or when the next book in the series will arrive and I hope this isn't another George RR Martinesque series with no plan to continue in the near future. (

This is a good, solid first book in what looks to be an entertaining series. There are Arch angels, guardian angels, sentinels and ghosts... sounds awesome right? The writing is good but didn't blow me away or impress me in the least, it simply was "Ok". I wish I could give it more stars because the premise is original but the execution is lacking and I was bored most of the time. So three stars it will be until the next book comes out. Hopefully things will pick up. (
