Clifford tries to help a neighbor boy do good deeds, but instead he simply spreads more chaos and destruction . . . like always. Once again, a convenient emergency causes everyone to consider this menace to society a hero. And this is the second fire, so I'm starting to wonder if Clifford is an arsonist, setting these fires on purpose to burnish his reputation.

This is J. Jonah Jameson reporting . . .
*Clifford’s Good Deeds* by Norman Bridwell is a fun and sweet story about kindness and trying your best. Clifford, the giant red dog, and his owner, Emily Elizabeth, set out to help others, but things don’t always go as planned. Even when their good deeds go a little wrong, the story shows that what really matters is caring and trying to make a difference. With bright, playful illustrations and simple, engaging storytelling, this book is perfect for young readers. It’s a great way to teach kids that helping others—even if it’s not perfect—is always worth it.
Personally, I have always loved Clifford the big red dog stories. I love how this author continues Clifford's stories. My mom loved Clifford the big red dog so she often show more read us these books. show less
This book is not only a comical, but it teaches kids about doing good deeds! It teaches children that helping eachother is the important part...even though Clifford tends to mess up some of his own deeds! However, in the end, Clifford is honored for all the good deeds he did that day. This story will keep kids engaged due to its colorful pictures and creative text. Everyone loves Clifford!
This children's fiction picture book is one of many in a series of stories about Clifford by Norman Bridwell. In this story, Clifford and Emily are trying to help others in their community, but anything Clifford does to help ends up being wrong. He breaks things, spills, and more because he is such a big dog. He doesn't give up, and at the end of the story is a hero with an award!
Cute book of Clifford "only trying to help." Everything goes wrong with a too eager dog often too big and powerful for his own (and other people's) good until he is just the right size to ***SPOILER*** save the children on the second floor of the burning house and put the fire out.
The Clifford books are good for children starting in Kindergarten. This one in particular is a good one, because sometimes when Clifford is trying to be good he doesn't always get it right, but it is the thought that counts.
Clifford Good Deeds by Norman Bridwell
Audio version so I am not seeing the colorful pictures.
Emily has a dog Clifford. Her friend Timothy try to do a good deed every day.
They help others by piling leaves but it makes Clifford sneeze and they spread all over the place.
They try to help another neighbor and a similar problem comes up....deed after deed.
Will they ever find something Clifford can help with to do a good deed.
I received this book from National Library Service for my BARD (Braille Audio Reading Device).
