I wasn't expecting a lot from this film but in the end I really enjoyed it. It's not a bundle of laughs but as a fictionalised snap shot of the fight for women's votes in Britain it works well. Every woman who doesn't bother to vote should be forced to watch it and reflect on the sacrifices that people have made in the past. And read the list at the end to realise that for some women, it is an ongoing fight. ( )
