Description
Reissue of the first of a pioneering Australian fantasy series for younger readers, first published 1976. Followed by 'Lost Souls of the Twilight' (1976), 'The Crown of Darkness' (1977) and others. Includes Gamble's illustrations from the original edition. Parry (1931-85) practised as a psychotherapist in Sydney for 20 years and began writing fantasy stories as a mature age university student. The current publisher plans to republish each of the fantasy series, including some not previously show more published. show lessTags

I read this over 20 years ago when I was a teenager, so I don't remember very much about it at all. At the time I enjoyed it, particularly all the flying, but it never became a favourite.
