Includes Gamble's illustrations from the original edition. Parry (1931-85) practised as a psychotherapist in Sydney for 20 years and began writing fantasy stories as a mature age university student. I read this over 20 years ago when I was a teenager, so I don't remember very much about it at all. At the time I enjoyed it, particularly all the flying, but it never became a favourite.
