Our modern diet, high in low-quality carbohydrates, is damaging our bodies-producing a constant overload of sugar in our bloodstream that clogs up our arteries and piles hidden fat into our internal organs. Very interesting read and although I don't think I could do 800 calories a day for 8 weeks, adopting the 5:2 principles with a low carb Mediterranean diet is appealing and probably doable. ( )

A very useful book. I also bought the associated recipe book. ( )
