[book:The Cow That Laid an Egg|2832782] has been a story time favorite of mine for years. This is a great continuation of the cow-hero genre (okay so two books don't really make a genre). Unlike my chick-hatching cow who yearned to feel special, this cow yearns for adventure. There isn't a villain in the story. Just Tina's cow sisters, naysayers who are proven wrong...

"It was IMPOSSIBLE.
It was RIDICULOUS.
It was NONSENSE.
But it was TRUE!"

The thing is, this book is kind of ridiculous nonsense (the cows, a penguin, and other animals parachute out of the sky with the help of a dragon) but it's also true that in the world of fiction anything is possible.
Pleasant visuals in soft colours, which encourage revisiting to uncover hidden details.
About a cow which thought differently. Curious and Imaginative.
"Tina isn't like other cows, she loves to explore, doscover and dream. Can she show her sisters that there is more than chewing grass"
I love Tina, she's a cool cow. Why sit at home and eat grass when there's a forest to discover and new friends to make? Plus the art is totally gorgeous.
