Loading... Little Raccoon Catches a Coldby Susan Canizares
![]() None No current Talk conversations about this book. 00008382 I really enjoyed this books a lot. I feel like it is something students can really relate to and it has amazing pictures. The greatest feature of this book is the ability for two different levels of readers to read it side by side. One page has a normal story dialogue and the other page has an easy low level sentence. I think you could use this as a read aloud in your class, reading the story part and having the class read all together the low level sentences. Genre: Fantasy Uses- -Class read aloud -parent read aloud This story is about a little raccoon who is in a hurry to go outside and play with his friend. Each of his family members tells him not to go outside without a certain article of clothing, or he will catch a cold. So, the raccoon decides to grab some "cold catching" equipment and try to "catch" the cold. I think this is a very sweet and funny story. I love the fact that the raccoon trys to "catch" the cold himself. One could read this story to children to show how families take care of each other. no reviews | add a review
