I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. There is quite a bit of hot sex in this book, but there is much more talking about hot sex. The writing isn't great, but it's not the worst that I've read. I liked the story and the almost all of the characters, and I loved the end . If you don't like reading about graphic sex, this book isn't for you, but if it doesn't matter if you like to read books like that, this is worth a read. ( )no reviews | add a review
From working a ranch fence line, Rod McLemore is thrust back into the line of duty. During his cousin's wedding, he crosses the line of extreme encounters in the form of Margo Santero. She has no problem lying to his face when he has her half-naked in an airport bathroom. For Rod, the king of one-nighters, she's TNT, and he wants more! Outside of a crazy fling, there's zero room in Margo's life for distractions. Handsome Marines are dangerous to her health, especially the tall, ripped in steel, and sexy kind. What began as a game of cat-n-mouse with a con man has Margo on the run. When Rod agrees to hide her cargo for a couple of weeks, she can't escape their raw chemical connection. Being with Rod on his ranch becomes a voyage of self-discovery. He teaches Margo that a battle worth fighting, sometimes requires taking a stand. In the tenderness of a new love, she unearths the scars Rod carries but not the history.Just as they breach the threshold of cementing their trust, disaster hits. In the aftermath, one by one, a twisted web is woven, ensnaring everyone Margo holds dear. Their stormy love affair forces them over the edge and out of their comfort zones. They'll do whatever it takes to stay together. Even if it means they have to lie, steal, cheat. Or kill. No library descriptions found. |
