Overly complicated, and based on a series of hallucinations... there is this huge mass of meaning and the structure is just not strong enough to hold it! Too many forced connections, everything means everything.
Despite all that it was a fun enough read. It just couldn't come out as profound as it wanted to be.
Lots of straight sci fi stuff here... interstellar travel in a few hours, etc. Intergalactic civilization, time spans of thousands and millions of years. Plus buxom babes. Really the thing is over the top! Just relax and enjoy the ride!

An excellent book, if you're looking at a clearer idea of what Tarot is and the different styles as they relate to society.
