Hudson is an FBI agent who has come back to Crystal Lake because his father is ill. Almost immediately, he runs into Becca, his high school love who he left twelve years ago and never saw again. Now they have a second chance at love.
It was a good read and I liked Becca and Hudson well enough though I never understood why the breakup in the first place (he couldn't have called her in a few days to explain why he left?). I also thought they got together again way too fast considering how broken up Becca was when he left. Unresistable magnetic attraction isn't a good enough reason, especially considering Becca has a son in the picture, at least in my opinion. But the sex scenes were hot and I liked some of the secondary characters so I'd give this author another try. ( )
