12 • Lifeboat (Part 1 of 3) • serial by Gordon R. Dickson and Harry Harrison
Explosion in a spaceship makes several lower cast humans, one ruling class member and two aliens beings to escape in a lifeboat. Fairly interesting, not too bad. A bit too "educational" a times.
****-

76 • The Hunters of Tharsis • shortstory by Bob Buckley
¨Explorers in space meet "blob", wich absorbs them, and might even make them better for living on a planet. Also good story, not too surprising, though.
***½

96 • Equinocturne • novelette by Robert Charles Wilson [as by Bob Chuck Wilson ]
Explorerer exploring a planet. Couldn't get into it, seemed extremely standard and boring story, didn't finish. *

123 • The Tax Man • shortstory by Stephen Robinett
99% tax rate - and how to survive when capital punishment is the only punishment for tax evasion. Ok, a bit too far fetched. Hard to think how those laws would gone through the lexislation. ***+

141 • The Negotiators • [Retief] • shortstory by Keith Laumer
Another explorers/diplomats in an another alien planet. Contacting amphibious aliens. Also not one of the less good stories. ** ( )
