In giant A3 format, illustrated in full-colour cartoon style, aimed at 8-15 year olds but also appealing to adults, accurate and informative, with surprising sections on ancient Egyptian, also Asian, Ethiopian and tree beekeeping. A complete one-off. You will either love it or hate it, but most will love it.
Beautiful, life like illustrations and high- interest facts make this book delightful. It is a bit difficult to navigate if you are looking for a specific topic or piece of information. It seems like it is intended to be enjoyed as a whole or flipped through the way children often do searching for something that catches their eye. This book has plenty to catch the eye!
Between “How the Bee Came to Be” and “Bees in the Big City” this wonderfully illustrated informative text celebrates the essential role that these small creatures have played historically and their continued importance to our ecosystem. Includes The Daily Buzz
Almost a 5 star book
Különösen érdekesnek találtam a középkori méhészeti módszerek bemutatását.
