Gabriel Wyatt is a big city Detective living in a small Ohio town. He expects a peaceful existence once he moves from Miami, Florida, but that's the last thing he finds. Both men deny that there's something between them, even though they're drawn together like magnets. I enjoyed this story for the most part although the hot/cold feeling got tiresome. The mystery was done well and the intro to the next book had me jumping to order it. Fun secondary characters that I hope will follow in other installments. ( )

This is a great story with great characters, however it's awkwardly and badly written and desperately needs a proofreader/editor. There are so many embarrassing mistakes in the writing and overall the writing is very immature. I was super disappointed because I've read her other stuff and it was great. I just cannot continue this series though. ( )

OK, but I hope the author steps it up as the series continues. I will give it a couple more tries, but... ( )

I'm just spoiled by good romance/crime books, so this one unfortunately didn't do it for me... Too much drama and not enough emotional growth for my liking. Sex was hot, but that's all. Better than prequel (0.5) though. ( )

Can't wait to read more!

I really enjoyed the story, I thought some of it was slow moving, but it made sense with the plot and Josh and Gabe just getting to know each other. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series. ( )
