Summary:
Snow White is a beautiful princess who lives with her stepmother (queen) because her father passed away. The stepmother is jealous of the girl's beauty and sends a worker of the castle to kill her in the forest. But the worker has compassion of her and did not kill her. Later, she is found by the seven dwarfs. When her stepmother found out that she is alive, she fakes being an old woman, giving Snow White a poisoned apple and putting her to a lasting sleep. The only person who can wake up Snow White is a prince giving her a kiss. The prince kissed her and they live happily ever after.

Personal Reaction:
Since I was little I enjoyed the Snow-White story and I remember when I was in Kindergarten I dressed like Snow White in a festival of my school. This story is traditional and many generations have read and will continue reading, because of the beautiful pictures of the forest.

Classroom Extension Ideas:
1.Children can read aloud the Snow-White and the Seven Dwarfs book during their reading time, and teacher can make questions about the reading.
2.Teacher can give a colorful picture dictionary to study and learn the vocabulary of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Children can look at the words and study them before they read the story.
