About My Library

So far, six Ikea bookshelves in my condo's 2nd bedroom. I have more books piled on my coffee table, and some in my bedroom as well, but I love that I actually have a library in my home.

My library has a wide variety of genres within both fiction and nonfiction, but is dominated by traditional/classic favorites and suspense/action novels. I have a lot of Christian fiction - it's the same as any other kind of writing - some of it's good, some of it's not.

For anybody interested, my rating system is as follows:
5 stars - one of my all-time favorite books
4 stars - very good book
3 stars - worth your time
2 stars - ok, but not great
1 star - complete garbage

About Me

I've been reading all my life; I love books and everything about them... obviously, I love to read them, but I also love holding them, smelling them, browsing through them, looking at the line of them on a shelf. I don't know if that makes me crazy or not. I have a B.A. in English, and I hope to go back someday and get a masters (and a doctorate?) in literature. I'm currently working at a local bookstore - not too bad being surrounded by books for a living. ;)
