A fairly typical example of 1980s National Geographic photography, with an emphasis on less-traveled spots. (At least, those that were less traveled at the time.) Nice to leaf through. ( )

stories all written in ng style. which can be boring but that's ok. i'm never going to see these places so this is as close as i get. also book is from 1987 and one wonders if things have changed for the better. read the one on eastern zaire the day after i saw gorillas in the mist. ( )
