Science. MS YA part C. The book is a great introduction to anatomy for YA. Each topic of the book, including the human body, ears and hearings, smell and taste, the brain etc. features double-page spreads loaded with good-quality, full-color photographs and informative captions. Rather than providing in-depth looks at any one topic, the material is summarized into one paragraph. Moreover, extra information, related to the topic and pictures, helps to explore not only the fascinating world of the human body - from the skeleton to the tiny cells that make the body work, but also other areas of science like physics, chemistry, even art! For example, in topic Hearing and Ear a reader can find the information about Beethoven and his mind's show more ear. Photographs of a variety of youngsters performing tasks or illustrating points appear throughout, complemented by photos or diagrams of body parts. show less
