The author proposes that certain manipulation of birth date numbers can reveal a person's life purpose, and he seems to have developed an extensive system trying to prove his point, citing examples of known individuals, etc. But for me, there is a lot of ambiguity here. So unless (and if) I study it more from other sources (which I am not sure exist or not), I cannot recommend this book as a trustworthy one. ( ) A friend of mine lent me this book - and it was fun! Based on the month, day and year of your birth, Millman derives two numbers which he claims govern the energies and issues of your life: Creativity & confidence; Coorperation and balance; Expression & Sensitivity; Stability & Process; Freedom & Discipline; Vision & Acceptance; Trust & Openness; Abundance & Power; Integrity & Wisdom; or Inner Gifts. Each person is born to focus on one of these - both negatively and positively, wherein lies one's life purpose. This book has a slightly different approach to birthdate numerology, which I found refreshing and helpful. The book offers concrete ideas to move forward as well as reflections on your personality. I think it's a good guide to periodically reflect on to consider where you are and how to get where you want to be. no reviews | add a review
