Dragon Unbound is a fun and quick read.

It was so nice to get the First Dragon’s story though I wish it was a full novel instead of a novel, but I still had a lovely time. The story had MacAlister’s trademark humor and likable characters. It was nice to revisit and see all the previous couples from the series and the ladies trying to hook the First Dragon up with a mate. Since it is a novella we don’t get much conflict and everything wraps up nicely and a little too quickly, but still it was a fun read for this fan.

The series should be read in order for the best enjoyment.

Dedication
There are always oodles of people to thank when it
comes to writing a book, but this one was written
while I was in the throes of some frustrating times.
For that reason, I thank Janet Avants, Sara Bates, and
V... (show all)inette Dicarlo for being thoughtful, supportive, and
making me laugh in a wholly inappropriate manner.
First words
The First Dragon was well aware of the noise outside the sunny room.
Last words
(Click to show. Warning: May contain spoilers.)Aisling ran, her heart filled with joy both at the dragon who was patiently counting to fifty so that she had a head start, and for the music that was lifting over the night, bringing happiness to everyone within its sound.
