"Imogene helped her newbie vampire friend Celia hook up with an adorable human, but now Celia has dropped an atomic bomb of surprise: she has a possibly blood-sucking baby on the way. Imogene is not pleased, especially when a mysterious, ancient, and annoyingly gorgeous vampire historian shows up to monitor Celia's unprecedented pregnancy. Lord Nicholas Christopher Cuthbert III is everything Imogene hates: posh, mannerly, and totally uninterested in her. Plus, she thinks he's hiding something. So what if he smells like a fresh garden and looks like a rich boarding school kid just begging to be debauched? Imogene has self-control. Or something. As Celia's pregnancy progresses at a freakishly fast pace, Imogene and Nicholas play an ever-escalating game of will they or won't they, until his sexy maker shows up on Admiral Key, forcing Nicholas to reveal his true intentions toward Celia's soon-to-arrive infant." -- Amazon.com… (more)

Another one knocked out of the park. My mom actually yelled at me at least 4 times today to get my nose out of this book. Thankfully, my kids just let me read.

Celia and Ian are expecting a baby! What? A vampire human half breed? How can this be possible? Dr Savage calls in a specialist from London to oversee this one of a kind pregnancy. Lord Nicholas is a force to be reckoned with. Imogene, being a force of her own, and collide in an eruption of erotic fireworks. A love story for the girl who doesn't fall in love.

This book was beyond spectacular. A great choice for anyone who enjoys vampires, a bit of erotic, and corny humor. A great lighthearted read.

*I received a copy of this book for free. The review is my own, honest and unsolicited. ( )

This isn't technically a review. I won a copy of this book here on LT and, as it's a sequel, the publisher sent it along with book one in the series. I managed to stomach 50% of book one and then DNFed it for being too juvenile to enjoy. Thus, I'll not be reading this one.

This is a cute, very light paranormal romance. How does a new vampire with a boring life, no boyfriend, and a deadend job learn to cope with her situation? With a vampire therapist, of course. And it helps when she meets cute surfer dude Ian and Imogean her crazy new vampire friend. Hijinks ensue. Easy, quick beach read. ( )

I received an e-copy of this book for free from the publisher in exchange for an honest review through the early reviewers program. This is the second book in the series and was just as fun and entertaining as the first. The characters are interesting and quirky and I look forward to more from them in the future. I would definitely recommend this series as a fun summer read, especially for someone who enjoys a light paranormal series. ( )

Disclaimer: I was given this book for free as part of the Library Thing Early Reviewer (LTER) program for an honest review.

I loved this second book in the series. It has the familiar and loved characters of Celica, Ian, Imogen, Dr Rayne Savage and Dean. Each character continued to developed, with a little more background on some of them. I loved the storyline of this book, which picks up where book #01 left off.

Celica's pregnancy progress extremely quickly and a colleague/friend of Rayne's, Lord Nicholas Christopher Cuthbert III, came to assist with the pregnancy. Of course he had an alternative agenda, which is revealed towards the end of the book. However, I really liked Nicholas, the role he played in the story and the relationship between him and Imogen.

New, minor, characters were introduced for this story and it was interesting to see their role and the obvious villainy they portrayed.

I was shocked to see a character from book #01 reappear, but it was a pleasant and happy surprised for everyone.

Finally, the star of the book was Vivian, when she finally makes an appearance. I really hope that there is another book in the series that continues Vivian's story, as well as some of the other characters. ( )
