Esme Shapiro's illustrations are cute and certainly add to the story. The expressions on the faces of the animals shows their feelings well. A great book for kindergarten and early primary classrooms as well as families with young children. The publisher generously provided me with a copy of this book via Netgalley. They seem to have nothing in common. This book contains three short stories showing that you don't have to be exactly alike in order to be good friends.
