I really liked Easton in this one, since he was my favorite Royal right from the beginning. He was super protective of Hartley and managed to overcome all the shit obstacles that appeared in his path.
Hartley's storyline in this book really got my attention too, though I really wish things would have focused a lot less on her memory loss. The constant mentions of her not being able to remember things got really annoying really fast, though Felicity's fucked up actions concerning this added some horrifying drama.
The ending section where Hartley's dad and Steve died had me on the edge of my seat. I expected the whole spying deal to be rather
I finally finished it!!
It took me what felt like forever, but I finally finished this beauty.
I kept reading it at a snail pace because I knew this was the last Royals book, at least for now, and I just wasn't ready to let go of my babies yet.
This was cute and hot and awesome as all the other Royals books I've read so far, but it had way more tension and drama...I LOVED it!
I'm so happy for East, my baby deserves nothing but all the happiness in the world.
The last few chapters killed me, with tension, with suspense, with the revelations they held. But I really liked the way Erin Watt ended the series. I liked how not all the problems were magically fixed overnight, and that some things were left for the characters to work on.
It gave the show more books a more realistic vibe that made me enjoy it even more.
All in all, this was such a fun read, and I can't wait for more Erin Watt books show less

This is full of all the Royal’s usual drama and page-turning goodness. It picks up right from the cliffhanger we were left at in book four of the series, and for those first few chapters, is all but impossible to put down. Hartley and Sebastian are both hurt. Both are probably at fault for the accident. Seb for sure. But of course worried people don’t exactly think rationally, so there are lots of nasty words slung about. This book did a fair job examining the aftermath of TBI, which isn’t pretty. As usual, there are plenty of mean girl antics, and Royals being Royals. I found the scenes with Easton and Hartley especially sweet. She brings out a good side of him that makes me really enjoy him as a character.

I LOVE the first three books in this series and the fourth was pretty good as well enough it was frustrating with how idiotic Easton was being. There are things I liked and really enjoyed about this one but then a few things that I really hated. I hate that poor Hartley pretty much lost her whole personality. She went from being such a strong independent woman who was smart enough to know that Easton Royal was trouble to being the typical girl who falls hopelessly in love and utterly dependent on him. I can see that it was necessary to help Easton finally grow up but it still upset me that she was compromised for it. I think the twists were really good and loved the main conclusion with the two fathers near the end. I loved having more show more of Ella in the book and getting closure on things with her father. I did absolutely hate the ending though. It felt rushed and unnecessary. I understand that the authors felt the majority of the fans would want it ending the way it did but I think if they had just done an epilogue that jumped ahead maybe two or three years then it would have given Ella and Reed a better ending. This ending just didn't fit with their characters and if they have given them more time they could have also given more details about the other characters and more details on Ella and Reed's happily ever after especially since this is the last book in the series. I know I'll be rereading the series at some point because I love these characters but I'll probably stop at Twisted Palace. show less
I know this book has got mixed reviews. But I have to say that I enjoyed this book. I am trash for the entire series and cannot wait to read more by this author duo. I loved the story of Hartley and Easton. I had a soft spot for Easton in the original trilogy and I liked seeing him grow as a person. I also glad that at the end this cleared up some of things. I won't say anymore that would be spoilers and wrong of me.
Umm... are we sure the same authors wrote this one?
Damn! That was a great read! This series is just awesome. Hope there will be more.
