If I were asked to bring one, and only one, book to a desert island, this would be my choice. Some kind of survival manual might help me more, but this is one book I could keep on reading forever and ever. I like encyclopedias, and this one is the best there is. (

If it ain't in here we don't have it! The best single volume encyclopedia in English ever! Also known as the Junior Woodchuck's Guidebook. (Makes a great doorstop too.) (
