Shirrel and Fran (terrible names!) are twins. Shirrel goes to work for her aunt and uncle but Fran can't go because she's broken her ankle. Shirrel finds out that she likes having her own identity and meets Kurt who likes her for her. Fran shows up and Shirrel needs assurance that Kurt still knows the difference between her and her sister. ( )

Quotations
Kirk went ahead, but held her hand and guided her. Then he turned and lifted her down a slight embankment, setting her on the white sand that seemed to glow in the moonlight. but when her feet touched the ground, he didn't release her. Instead he pulled her closer, his arms around her waist. Whe knew that this was the moment she had dreamed about. He was going to kiss her, and she wanted that more than anything else in the world.....
