Terrible. The art is OK, but the text is very chopped up and in such a way that you can't fill in the missing bits. The story is supposedly about a young widow who falls in love with an aristocrat who turns out to be engaged to someone else. I'm used to manga adaptations of Regencies being more anachronistic than the source material but this makes me wonder about the original novel as well. I can't tell if this is a very unsuccessful adaptation or a bad book that should not have been adapted in the first place. ( )
