The book covers a lot of the basic knots that come in handy all the time. It also goes into a lot of decorative and intricate knots that may not have so many practical applications, but can certainly take up some spare time (if you have some). I like how colorful and instructive the book is. Way better than trying to learn knots from old boy scout and Navy manuals!
