Unlike most dybbuk stories, the dybbuk, who inhabits a bride, is alive (and her true love). Perhaps because this is a picture book for children and a happy ending is preferable. It is "loosely" based on S. Ansky's play, The Dybbuk>. The illustrations are in lovely colors; one shows the bride with the dybbuk "reflected" below her.
