Autumn Rain didn’t always have the ability to read emotions imprinted on objects – psychometry, it seemed to come with death of her father following a bombing. Now, when Sgt Martin of the Portland Police Dept comes asking for the help in a disappearance of a child she feels she can’t refuse.

This is the prequel to the Imprint Series by Teyla Branton, giving us a more detailed background to the series. This book was available free on Kindle Unlimited or I would not have read it. The characters who people this series, they are diverse and interesting, the flow is even-paced and definitely exciting at moments. I would like to read more as I found the subject matter interesting. ( )
