Features the story of a tornado, a horse and a boy in mid-west America. After the tornado, everything was hurt, and what's least hurt had to help what's really hurt. In the days that followed, Mark had to face up to the real meaning of love and responsibility - and death.

Love at least one other by the author. Book was answer to a 'what's the name of that book' style stumper on Fiction.L, so, was memorable to at least that one reader.

Finished. Relatively straightforward adventure, but, for me, will be readily forgotten, actually. Although it was neat to learn of different reactions to a tornado by different vignettes of members of the community. For example, a farm stand was up and running soon after, but the seller limited Mark's purchase of potatoes, saying that he wanted to have some avl for other hungry ppl. ( )
