This souvenir guide of Hadrian's Wall discusses the wall's construction, its history and importance, its remains, and research done. It provides enough detail to provide a lasting reference. Its illustrations contain maps, coins, pottery, drawings of Roman tools, sketches, and photographs. While a true historian may want more, this provides the information most tourists find interesting.
