Impulse grab from the library. Really, Koontz writing light verse for children?! So far so cute. Might not have gotten published if the author's name wasn't already established, though.

Ok done. Yup, that's about it. Might appeal more to those young male reluctant readers we're so worried about, though. Good resource for a classroom, 3-6th grade, when doing a poetry unit.
Poetry Collection. This collection of poetry has no table of contents. All of the poems are about a page long. The illustrations are detailed and intriguing. The poem for which the book is named after is the coolest. It is about the most exciting place to be. There is an extra long poem entitled Snowland. These poems are a bit sci-fi and spooky. This is a great book to illustrate creative writing and the concept of sci-fi.
FROM AMAZON: A collection of wildly imaginative and hilarious poems from the New York Times best-selling author is filled with such vivacious verses as "The Woggle Wrangler," "The Bear with One Green Ear," and "An Angry Poem by a Dragon's Mother."
