I love this series. Its animals fighting supernatural horror, which sounds like its either a comedy or a mess, but it is neither. It certainly can be funny, but it can also be tense and thrilling. The art is gorgeous and the writing manages to hit just the right tone.
Returning to this world of boop-able snoots and a surfeit of gore, Beasts of Burden manages a fine balance with humor, emotion, and beautifully rendered art.
