Wicked Wings

Lizzie and Belle have been in hiding for a long time but Lizzie's connection to the wild magic and both of the magical skills keep drawing attention and they both know their time is running out, when a tracer appears looking for Lizzie. Lizzie and Belle have decided to stop running and it will take them trusting their friends to help them face what's been chasing them.

In this installment Lizzie and Belle work to help Aiden find a demon who is stripping the bones of it's murder victims and manage a 'White Lady' bent on vengeance with the help of the other mages on the Reservation Ashworth, Monty and Eli.

While Lizzie and Aiden make a great team their relationship has more than a few hurdles to overcome. A witch and a wolf cannot have a show more forever relationship, if Aiden ever meets his forever wolf mate. In addition, Aiden's mother demands to meet Lizzie and tries to run her off.

I love all of these characters, Arthur does a great job weaving their day to day lives with the drama and suspense of finding and destroying murderous demons.

****Spoilery bits, especially if you haven't read the previous books. ****

Lizzie was magically forced to marry an abusive witch by her father and has been on the run with Belle ever since. While the confrontation is going to happen, it doesn't happen in this installment but I loved that she finally trusted her friends with her story and they are rallying around her and Belle.

This one was repetitive and a bit boring but made me hop onto the next book because of the looming personal drama finally.
