Cherylk | Oct 23, 2022 |   Harmony Pointe #3 Melissa Foster has the ability to create wonderful characters in believable stories that sweep me in and make me believe I am there with all of the characters. In this book I would have loved to have been Piper...or at least to have been the one to have Harley’s attention and love! This is a friends to lovers story that left me happy at the end of the story but also left me wondering which of the characters I had invested in would have their story told next. I would love to hear about Delaney and Marshall and probably a few others, too. What I liked: * Piper: a tough take no prisoners woman working in construction. She also cares about family and friends and has a heart of gold * Harley: my, oh my, oh MY! He is a hunk of burning love and just what Piper needs. He is there for family and friends and has a bit of a hero complex. Truly liked this man! * The family member and the parts they played...nice to see them and how they are doing. * Jiggs: a dog that was perfect for Harvey * Delaney and her daughters * The father-daughter dance scene with Uncle Harley and Jolie – made me smile * Marshall: At first he seemed a bit of a creep but he became more and worthy of a book of his own by the end of the book. * The Dark Knights: life savers in more ways than one...need to see if there is a series about them * The magic potions Piper’s mother makes * The mention of difficult subjects and how they were addressed – there were more than one or two in this book * All of it really except… What I did not like: * Having to say goodbye to everyone when I read the last page. With this book, Piper's sassiness was a little muted. That is because this book is more on a personal level. It showed the vulnerable side of Piper. Which made me love her even more than I thought I could. The surprise for me was Harley. He was not very prominent in the prior books, so I did not know much about him. However, the more I did get to know him the more I fell in love with him. He and Piper make such a great couple. (
