I really like Tricia Guild's style but this particular book was very disappointing. The entire book could basically be just one house; there was almost no variety in each layout. Everything was either brightly-colored sleek minimal furniture in a white room, or white sleek minimal furniture in a brightly-colored room. And although the palettes varied a bit, they all contained her classic turquoise-fuschia-orange combo. 25-30% of the book was floral arranging for dinner parties, which isn't what most readers will be looking for. And it was rather cheesy that whenever the author appears in her layouts that her outfits are carefully coordinated to match. Some amazing fabrics though, with a nice shopping guide in the back.
