Four mothers, Carolyn, Bronnie, Kendall and Elise all have daughters who are friends at an academy for performing arts. New girl Imogen Curwood arrives and things start to happen at the school possibly putting one student in danger.

This book shouted out to me because it was a combined work of four well respected authors, three of which I have read books by and enjoyed.

I was really disappointed by this book. I found it a slog to get through. The story at times became repetitive and I have to say quite boring. The story started off ok and for a time did hold my interest but half way through I just lost interest.

I didn't like any of the characters so didn't find myself rooting for anybody. I plodded on with this book hoping it would pick show more up but for me it didn't. Near the end I just flicked to the last couple of pages and the reveal I found just so so.

I have no problem with multiple authors writing a book together but this offering for me was a big let down.

Dat leidt show more tot allerlei wantrouwen en gekonkel. show less
