You Read to Me! I'll Read to You!

Genre: This is a poetry book because each page has a different poem about two friends. The structure changes on each page but for each individual mini story, the structure stays the same. Throughout the book, two characters are used and they are meant to be whoever the two readers are, which makes the book more personal for readers.

Style: This book has a lot of mini stories and each one has a consistent rhythm that is found on each page. Rhyming is also used, which adds to the light-hearted and fun feel of the book. Imagery was also used, for example if we could not see the illustrations on each page, we could easily imagine what the characters are doing.
