The Cold Heart of Capricorn

A rapist claims yet another victim and Elizabeth Chase is drawn into it. The cops bring her in almost as a last resort because she seems to be able to see details no-one else can about the mysteries. Also a friend of hers is involved. As the rapes continue the rapist gets more brutal.

This isn't a bad series, but the main character is a lot too central without being pivotal enough really. She's interesting but it just didn't quite get me, I do intend to read more but sometimes I wonder if the character grows.

I am really starting to like this series. Elizabeth Chase is an interesting and complicated heroine.
