Several times the author has assured the reader that she is above what she’s describing other people as being. But it is very clear from the examples that she gives from her personal life that she is in need of therapy. She doesn’t seem to be at the point in life to be spouting definitive “pearls of wisdom“ when she doesn’t know what’s definite.
