Child wants to go outside and climb the terrain until reaching the summit with dad. Together they live in a tropical land where Creole is spoken and interpreted. There are many fantastically colored birds and more (and a seek/find paragraph at the end)! Together they huff and puff and climb ever upward until they reach the summit that overlooks a colorful town. Where can we go with our energetic ones and what can WE see? Great book for home/school/public library! I requested and received a free temporary ebook copy from NorthSouth Books Via NetGalley. Thank you! no reviews | add a review

"When a young child reminds her dad about the hike they planned, her father is hesitant --To the tippy top? It's a great day to watch futbol (soccer). But as the two climb on, her enthusiasm is contagious. Filled with setbacks, surprises, and stunning views, this warm and humorous story highlights in vivid colors the bonding power of a shared experience. A list of creatures at the end prompts a second look for keen-eyed readers to make discoveries of their own."-- No library descriptions found. |
