Does Jane Sandburg's future lie between the pages of her scrapbook? With the help of her scrapbooking girlfriends, Jane is putting the pieces of her life back together since her divorce from a cheating husband. Her non-profit publicity firm is doing well and her new neighbor, Jake, is causing all kinds of sparks. But when the Ex returns with a sorrowful heart begging for one more chance, Jane pulls her wedding scrapbook out of the closet to decide if her future lies in the past. With her friends going through trials of their own--adoption, run-ins with the law, and marital trouble--Jane and the girls come together over the scrapping table to make sense of their crazy lives. Kind of the prequel to Sisters Ink - it was ok. I didn't feel quite the connection with the characters. Good story, though. ( )

Will not re-read. About scrapbooking, uninteresting.

Cute book, clean, I liked the importance of friendship in the story line. Good escapism but don't expect great writing! ( )

This lighthearted romance concerns a woman named Jane who has just gotten over her husband dumping her for a cyberspace lover. She has survived and even thrived with the help of her "sisters"--a group of female friends who share two things in common: their faith in Jesus and their obsession with scrapbooking. So when Jane meets a charming new neighbor who seems to have romance potential, their budding relationship is duly chronicled. But some red flags and a blast from the past cause some speed bumps along the way--will Jane end up with her prints charming? Or will her love life develop into a big mess?
This was a cute little story, and I'll bet scrapbookers would love all the scrapping references a lot more than I did. There were also a lot of references to Gary Chapman's love languages book. ( )
