Excellent ...It is an intiguing book with a scientific slant and should be studied more than simply read. When the philosophy finally 'clicked' with me I was very excited. I realized I had discovered a great deal of truth in here.
It was a pleasant surprise that all the recipes in this book were vegetarian and very close to vegan. Usually the only non-vegan thing was a teaspoon or two of ghee - easily replaced by oil or Earth Balance or omitted completely.
Beginning with a thorough discussion of the negative effects of societal programming in favor of the degenerative nature of aging, Chopra gives positive steps to take in the areas of diet, exercise, and meditation or prayer to forestall or reverse the process of aging.
