I watched this in two parts. I stopped before getting halfway through because the movie felt generic. Nothing was interesting or unusual in the story. The acting and filming are wonderful. Just did not seem like an interesting story, nor did I think it would be. I also hate not finishing a story. So I continued watching a couple of days later. I was at the point where the story turned around. Then I experienced the magical aspects of this story. Thankfully it was well done and not campy. Then I could see how this is a Cinderella-inspired story. The movie turned out to be quite enjoyable.
